League Mission & Objectives

The Islamic Soccer League’s mission is simply stated: Building Islamic character through sports.
The ISL is committed to providing all parents and players with a rewarding, enjoyable playing experience tailored to helping players become more confident, assertive, independent and self-controlled. Through soccer, the ISL works to instill a stronger sense of self-worth in its players based on their development of the skills and understanding of the game.
With dedicated volunteers and strong leaders, the ISL looks to direct the next generation of individuals by guidance and example in both character and in sport. In this regard, the ISL outlined several objectives.

Unity

Create a disciplined community sports environment that fosters unity and reflects our diverse backgrounds.

Youth Empowerment

Prioritize the needs of our young people above the organization’s interests. Cultivate leadership, identity, self-esteem, and confidence in our community’s youth through dedicated volunteers and strong role models.

Wholesome Lifestyle

Offer our youth engaging and healthy alternative activities. Inspire our youth to excel in both character and sportsmanship through physical activity.

Grow Local Businesses

Foster meaningful partnerships with local businesses and organizations for community benefit.

Charity

Promote individual and collective charity (Sadaqah) through annual events.

Outreach

Broaden opportunities for our community to build positive and fruitful relationships with other communities. Uphold a high standard of professional conduct in the operations of ISL.
